Igniting Ministry offers a large selection of newspaper ads in each expression. Each newspaper ad carries the "Open Hearts" promise and can be customized with your local church name and information. These ads range in size and also range from full-color to spot color to black-and-white. One whole expression (theme) is devoted to classified ads.

In addition to the traditional full- and half-page newspaper ad sizes, several small ads are available - all fully customizable with your local message. Note: all ads are not available in all sizes.

A FEW FACTS ABOUT NEWSPAPER ADVERTISING
Newspaper will never carry the same emotional impact as television or radio but it does allow persons to reference the ad many times. As a general rule, it reaches about 55 percent of our intended audience.

Fifty-seven percent of U.S adults read a daily newspaper. Sixty-seven percent read a Sunday paper. Each spends almost 45 minutes per day reading at least one paper, and more than an hour on Sunday.

The more than 1,600 daily papers in the United States have a combined circulation approaching 58 million. The more than 7,000 weekly papers have a combined circulation of more than 50 million.

If you are trying to reach unchurched people, don't put your ad in the religious section - you're preaching to the choir. Rather, put it in the sports, business, or classifieds section. However, if you're trying to attract church shoppers or occasional churchgoers, the reilgion section is your best bet.

Your ad should appear in the same place in the newspaper at least weekly for an indefinite period [forever]. Expect to run your newspaper advertising for at least two. It takes some time to build trust. And if you quit, you have to start all over again. Don't waste your money starting a newspaper-advertising program if you can't give it time to work. A smaller ad run regularly is better than a big ad run once.
